It seems to be in the human domain to find meaning in events, people, and situations. There seem to be many of us who are called to help at this time, after Hurricane Sandy’s destructive tour along the US and Canadian east coast.
Before the storm hit land, it seemed that lots of love was being expressed, at least it seemed that people were trying to avoid extreme fear and the possibility of desolation.

Where did the love and compassion come from? The soul! And what is that? Is it even important in the rugged aftermath of giant Hurricane Sandy, perhaps the most unprecedented storm in the last several hundred years and perhaps in history?
No matter where in the world we live, there is a sense of urgency in preparing for and sending energy to loved ones and people we know who live in the path of this huge, hungry lion of a storm. For many people there was an inner call to take part in sending light and love before, during and after the storm.

We can look at the soul from two different perspectives: (1) the soul in relation to humans and (2) in the lower kingdoms—animals, plants and the mineral kingdom. Each of these kingdoms reflects the higher kingdoms. The soul manifests aliveness or consciousness. The soul is the quality which every form manifests.
